After spending the last few months experimenting with AI Agents, MCP and the new capabilities available in Mendix Studio Pro, I realized that the most interesting part isn’t the protocol or even the AI assistant itself.

The real shift is that enterprise platforms are starting to expose their knowledge and capabilities so they can collaborate with AI Agents, not just with developers.

I believe this could fundamentally change how we understand, maintain, and evolve enterprise applications over the coming years.
